I searched around but I couldn't find the details. Only, not having hunted any dragomons for quite a while, I couldn't remember the password.
It was at that point that I realized I could use my existing Aeria Games account to play both games. So I downloaded it and installed the inevitable Aeria Games front end, which for some reason I'd never needed for DH. Wait a minute.I'm Level 2 and I haven't logged in yet. Then Syp at Bio Break wrote it up for one of his Try-Out Tuesday pieces and almost everything he said reminded me very strongly of Dragomon Hunter, which I took as a recommendation. Quite a while ago someone - it might have been Kaozz at ECTMMO - wrote something about Twin Saga that made me think it might be worth a look.
I took a break and the main reason I didn't go back was I lost my log in details, something I only found out when I tried to play another MMO in the Aeria Games stable, Twin Saga. I didn't even mention Dragomon Hunter when I was counting down the possibles although last year I was playing it and enjoying it. Pros: Good graphics, good but not great gameplay, loads of contents, mount system, Hoppalong.Ĭons: Hard to understand ranch system, repetitive music, Aeria Games, grindy.What I need is another MMO to play, right? Or how about a couple? I mean, according to my own account, I'm only playing five right now, with another dozen lined up, waiting to go. Not because of bad gamers but the amount of grind that you need is. You need to have a stronger will to stay in this game. TL dR: It is a great game, easily hooked at first. Bots will take your kill, make this game laggy and spam a lot. Levelling is fun from level 1 to 20 and after that, it is all on you to grind, grind, grind.Ī fair warning to players out there, games from Aeria Games tend to have a lot of bots. Not getting mounts drop could be frustrating. But doing the same thing over and over again, is not pleasant. Once I started and I know that this game offers did much of content for me to focus on, I got hooked to it. Falcon's Fortune, Loyalty Point, Archive, Achievements, and Hoppalong's classes are some of those that did. Aeria Games knows just how much they should give to hook onto gamers out there. The idea of these contents are rather brilliant, to me. I dislike the music, rather repetitive at some point it gets boring.ĭragomon Hunter has a few currency, Dragomon Point, Coin, Loyalty Points and Aeria Points.ĭragomon Point is received by killing certain rare dragomon, or by completing a certain quests.Ĭoin is rewards from quests, sale of items and so forth.Īeria Point is by buying with real money.ĭragomon Hunter has a lot of contents. Some may not like the chibi kind of art style but it does have a certain edge for it.
